| Founded in the mid 1990's, our client provides Alternative Family Living (AFL) and other Community Alternatives Program (CAP) services to individuals who have developmental disabilities. Their funding is under the Medicare CAPMRDD program and their primary focus is on the residential and respite programs.They supervise, train and monitor approximately 50 AFL homes with 2 to 3 individuals in each home and have two licensed day facilities with another 45 to 50 attendees. They employ some 80 people, have many exceptional people at all levels and have one person who can replace the owner. There are another 40 or so people that are AFL home providers. The business has grown impressively over the years and there are few, if any, competitors in their market who have the depth of staff and quality of services that our client has. 2010 is continuing to be very strong with sales over $4 million in the first 8 months and an owner benefit in excess of $600,000.
