Brad Van Horn
After graduating from Hanover College in Indiana in 1993 with
degrees in Political Science and Communications, Brad began his
nearly 15-year career in sales, marketing, franchising, and entrepreneurship.
While living in Indiana , Brad was an active part-owner of two
successful small businesses – a private investigations firm that
is still one of the largest in that state, and a brand marketing
company that specialized in the needs of car dealerships branded
by the Big Three automakers. He quickly learned the necessary skills
to be a small business owner, but after 10 years, felt like he needed
a change.
After moving to Florida , Brad worked as the Sales and Marketing
Manager for a national franchisor specializing in the education
field. His responsibilities included selling franchises and developing
marketing campaigns for new franchise owners. After a couple of
years, Brad was hired to be the National Account Manager for the
nation's largest provider of online education programs for working
executives. Specializing in corporate education and training for
Fortune 1000 companies, he represented numerous prestigious Universities
including Villanova, Notre Dame, and Tulane.

Brad settled in Charlotte after extensive business travel for the
past 15 years. At VR Charlotte, he focuses on the needs of other
successful business owners.
“Since I have been on both sides of the table, as a business owner
and someone who has sold businesses before, I truly understand what
the client is going through. There is a lot of emotion that goes
into the buying and/or selling of a business. I will do my part
to take the guesswork out of that process.”
Brad currently lives in the Ballantyne area of Charlotte .
