Bill Scott

Bill, a lifelong Charlotte resident, graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a BS in Business Administration.  After graduating from college, he returned to Charlotte and began his career in sales and sales management.  Bill received numerous sales and management achievement awards, and in 1984 started his own business.  This business grew into a large and well-respected company in the greater Charlotte area, and was noted by the Better Business Bureau and Angie’s List for their outstanding service.

During this period Bill and his wife Barbara started several other successful businesses.  In 1996 he was appointed by then Governor Jim Hunt to the highest position within his industry, NC Structural Pest Control Committee, and he served North Carolina on that position for five years.  In 2005 Bill sold his business and shifted gears.  Bill returned to UNC-Chapel Hill, completing advance degree work, and became a personal stock trader and portfolio manager.  He also started another small business. 

Bill has now decided to share his years of business experience in assisting buyers and sellers in evaluating, selling and purchasing businesses for VR Mergers & Acquisitions in Charlotte.
